Appeal a benefit decision

Timeframe

You have one calendar month to tell us you disagree with the decision from the date of the decision letter. Or one calendar month from the date of the letter telling you the decision can't be changed.

In some exceptional circumstances, you can submit your appeal within 12 calendar months after the date of our decision letter. You'll need to explain why you have special circumstances in writing.
