Request to protect a tree
You can request a Tree Preservation Order be placed on a tree if you feel a particular tree should be protected.
To request a TPO be placed on a tree:
- Email us using the details on this page and include:
- The address and location of the tree
- Description of the tree, such as species, height and age
- The reasons why you would like to see the tree protected
- Once we've received your request, we'll conduct a formal assessment of the tree to decide whether it should have a TPO
- We aim to notify you of our decision on whether a Tree Preservation Order will be put in place within 12 weeks.
