Anti-semitism: the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance has devised a working definition of Anti-semitism to highlight how Anti-semitism manifests itself in the 21st century. We have adopted this definition, which is "Anti-semitism is a certain perception of Jews, which may be expressed as hatred toward Jews. Rhetorical and physical manifestations of Anti-semitism are directed toward Jewish or non-Jewish individuals and/or their property, toward Jewish community institutions and religious facilities."
Diversity: this means we aim to celebrate the unique contributions of all individuals. We believe diversity is one of our borough's greatest strengths.
Equity: this means addressing inequalities to make sure everyone has access to the opportunities and resources they need.
