The following indoor venues will be hosting live entertainment. Unless stated, you don't need to buy tickets or pay to enter these venues.

Rochdale Spud Fest, Pub Lunch and The Filthy Animals

Location: The Flying Horse Hotel, 37 Packer Street, Rochdale OL16 1NJ

  • 12noon–8pm:
    • Rochdale Spud Fest is "a mash-up with some loose potatoes", with potato-based food dishes and drink specials all day.
    • Featuring 2 live bands spawned from the very popular Rochdale band, The Potato Men.
  • Cost: free to enter The Flying Horse Hotel, however, you will require a main stage ticket. 

Feel Good Hootenanny

Location: Our Gracie's, 13 The Butts, Rochdale OL16 1ES

  • Doors open at 1pm
  • Performances from 5pm–12midnight:
    • Featuring acoustic, traditional live music from Oakenhoof, Boab Swing and The P.U.G.S.
  • Cost: free to enter

The Sprats, Pin 1 Problem and Laura Beth (DJ)

Location: Hoochi Koochi, 9–10 South Parade, Rochdale OL16 1LR

  • Doors open at 7pm
  • 8pm–12midnight:  
    • The Sprats were the 2022 Feel Good Battle of the Bands winners. A 4-piece band hailing from Rochdale and Burnley, a recent review called their music "energetic, chaotic, catchy, punky, fun".
    • Pin 1 Problem, are a 5-piece guitar band based in Manchester bringing back straight forward rock 'n' roll.
    • There will also be DJ sets from Tameside and Reclaimed Radio's Laura Beth.

Gary Delaney and Guests

Location: Champness Hall, Drake Street, Rochdale OL16 1NZ

  • Doors open at 7.30pm
  • Performance starts at 8.30pm: Gary Delaney and Guests.
    • Comedy star and master of the one-liner, Gary Delaney headlines this big Rochdale Feel Good Festival warm-up show.
    • The multi award-winning Mock The Week regular will be joined by the brilliant Steve Shanyaski, Celebrity Masterchef semi-finalist 2023 Shazia Mirza and MC Dave Twentyman.
    • Recommended for adults and young people aged 16 and over.
    • Organised by Ace Lips Comedy Events.

Rohan Young, Dan's Girlfriend and Foxglove

Location: The Empire, 7 Packer Street, Rochdale OL16 1NJ

  • 7.30pm–10.30pm:
    • Rochdale born Rohan Young is an indie rock artist on a mission to create songs that resonate with the masses. infusing his songs with a blend of raw emotion and infectious energy.
    • Dan's Girlfriend are a fresh 4-piece British indie-pop band formed in 2024 by Claire Crowther. They were recently featured on BBC Introducing and BBC6 Music, with raw energetic bass, drums, guitar with riff driven sax and empowering vocals. The band are currently working on their debut album "Killing Time".
    • Foxglove draw inspiration from the 90s bands and dance classics that shaped their upbringing and recently featured their new single 'Monsters' on BBC Radio 1's Future Alternative show.

Dr Butler’s Hatstand Medicine Band and Grain Electric

Location: Defiance Distillery and Bar, Spotland Bridge Mill, Mellor Street, Rochdale OL11 5BU

  • 8pm–9.30pm: 
    • This new bar at Spotland Mill plays host to 2 live bands.
    • Dr Butler’s Hatstand Medicine Band, now in their 17th year, continue to delight audiences across the country with their unique brand of good-time music. They draw inspiration from British and European folk traditions as well as American ragtime, blues, hokum and old-time idioms.
    • Grain Electric – long-term collaborators and critically acclaimed songwriters Jamie Fildes and Stuart Warburton bring their blend of styles from bluegrass to country soul, hillbilly to rocking Americana. Their music is all built on the craft of song writing and delivered with a wry sense of humour.

Dyl Bud plus support and The Return of the Reno (weather permitting)

Location: The Baum, 33–37 Toad Lane, Rochdale OL12 1NJ

  • From 8pm:
    • The legend that is Dyl Bud, plus support
    • If weather permits, outside will be "The Return of the Reno"

Emma Konnanov and Andy Stott (DJ)

Location: Treehouse Bar, 14 Baillie Street, Rochdale OL16 1JG

  • 8pm–12midnight: 
    • An eclectic mix of local music featuring a captivating acoustic set from Rochdale born artist Emma Konnanov.
    • To round off the night, Andy Stott celebrates the very best sounds of the 70s.

Miami Jack and Friends

Location: Vinesteins, 5–7 The Walk, Rochdale OL16 1EP

  • 8pm–12midnight:
    • An evening of live bluegrass and country music with a talented acoustic trio featuring vocalist, guitarist and the classic double bass, delivering a vibrant and soulful performance.

    • Former Rochdale Feel Good Festival Battle of the Bands winners, with original songs about real life.

DJ Jazzy Lioness and DJ Sebred

Location: Trinity Bar, 3 King Street, Rochdale OL16 1LZ

  • 10pm–12midnight: 
    • Locals DJ Jazzy Lioness and DJ Sebred play bassline, drum 'n' bass, garage, UKG and house.
  • Cost: free to enter

The John Doyle Trio

Location: Box2Box Bar, R-KIX Performance Centre, Smith Street, Rochdale OL16 1YH

  • 10.30pm–12midnight:
    • Equally at home fronting a band on a festival stage or on a barstool in a songwriter’s circle, John writes his songs from the heart and with imagery so vivid it is tangible. As well as recording a new studio album, 2024 sees Doyle out on the road both solo and with his new blues outfit The JWD Band, playing a tour of Switzerland and summer festivals
