Name your house
To request a name for your house:
- You'll need to complete the online form - even if your property is already numbered, the number must remain as a legal requirement.
- We'll contact you when you need to pay the relevant fee.
- We inform the Land Registry of the name so that the deeds can be updated if approval is granted. Please remember the name does not form part of the official address for that property, and you must still display the number on all correspondence.
- You'll need to meet relevant legislation to make sure the number remains part of the address.
