The care leaver's discount is for young people aged 18–25 who have left care and are living in the borough of Rochdale.
Eligibility
To apply for a care leaver's discount, you must:
- Have been looked after by the local authority for at least 13 weeks since the age of 14, including some time after your 16th birthday
- Live in the borough of Rochdale and be responsible for paying the Council Tax
How to apply
Your social worker should notify us that you qualify for this discount, so there’s no need to apply.
However, if you’re not receiving this discount when you think you should be, either contact your social worker or email Council Tax services using the details on this page.
