Rochdale Wedding Show returns to Rochdale Town Hall on Sunday, 2 March 2025 and preparation is well under way.

Organisers Rochdale Borough Council are planning a big line-up, bringing over 40 beautiful, stylish and inspiring suppliers together alongside breath-taking catwalk shows, food tastings and live music.

It will be the first time in 6 years the show has been staged at the stunning Grade I-listed venue after its major restoration. During that time the popular event moved to the Mercure Norton Grange Hotel and Number One Riverside.

‘Get ideas and inspiration’

The show attracts hundreds of visitors from across Greater Manchester and beyond looking for inspiration for their perfect day with local companies exhibiting the latest collections and trends in bridal wear, formal menswear and everything in between - from flowers and classic cars, to photography, venue dressing, catering, cake design, entertainment, makeup, jewellery, decorations as well as many things the couples may not have even considered having at their weddings.

Experts will be on hand to offer advice and answer questions. Whether you're looking for something traditional, would prefer a more contemporary theme or a civil ceremony, they will help you put together your perfect day.

Catwalk shows will be at 12:30pm and 2pm with models will be strutting down the runway in designer dresses during the 30-minute shows highlighting the latest collections of wedding wear.

If you’re considering getting married at the town hall itself, you can get an exclusive preview of a new private space to freshen up and enjoy ‘time-out’ during the big day. The Wedding Dressing Room includes stylish dressing tables and spotlight mirrors and is now available.

A complimentary glass of fizz will be served to guests on arrival and in between wedding planning visitors are welcome to try the new critically-acclaimed Martlet Kitchen restaurant. Hot food will be served all day but booking is advised. The new Zodiac bar on the first-floor bar will also be open for cocktails, plus other drinks and snacks.

Councillor Sue Smith, cabinet member for communities and co-operation at Rochdale Borough Council, said:

“Rochdale Wedding Show is always the ultimate afternoon out for anyone looking to look at their options ahead of the big day - especially if they're looking for something a little different. Whether you are in the early stages of planning or your wedding is rapidly approaching this is a must attend event to get ideas and inspiration, meeting the experts and relaxing with friends and family.”

The event is free and there is no need to book tickets.
