Secondary school home learning resources

Year 10 important information

GCSE exams will take place in the summer.

To support learning in Year 10 it's important to:

  • Keep going with your studies when you are learning from home.
  • Revise work already covered.
  • Check your school website and the resources available through your personal log-in.
  • Access additional materials such as the online classroom on the National Academy website and lessons on the BBC Bitesize website
  • Complete the work your school has provided you with.
  • Communicate with your school or form tutor. They can give advice that will help you with your studies.
  • Stay connected with friends. Friendships are important for children and young people. Not being in contact with them can be difficult, so keep in touch.
  • Try to keep all school work or project work in one place. This can help you keep work organised, not lose anything, and separate home life and studies.
