Suitable for: All ages from babies upwards welcome.
Location: Limefield Playing Fields, Manchester Old Road, Middleton M24 4DY

Facilities: first aid, chill out space, information stand, toilets, free water station, children's play area, lost children point
You're welcome to bring your own food and drink and enjoy a picnic during the event. Free water refills will be available all day so please bring a bottle with you.
Good value family friendly food and drink will also be on sale at the event. There will be mobile catering at Limefield Playing Fields.

Have a well-deserved teabreak and as you stir your cup, gently glide through an audio journey of tea and how it’s found itself into our tea pots.

Description: a heart-warming live show following the journey of tea across continents and centuries onto our shores, with tea served from Trigger’s beautifully hand-painted tuk tuk.

Description: a stunning carnival will travel around the parks led by international carnival arts company Global Grooves, reflecting the Olympic values of excellence, friendship and respect.

Description: a real Feel Good Family Picnic. Bring your own supplies and tuck in while a stunning carnival procession travels around the parks led by international carnival arts company Global Grooves, featuring giant puppets, costumes, funky drumbeats, flags and high energy dance.

Description: this brass band find the humour in any situation, encouraging laughter and joy wherever they go.

Description: an array of puppet shows built into the part animal, part mechanical Hieronymus the hippo, revealing the origin of his malaise.

Event name: Mini Museum – Collections on Tour

Description: ‘Collections on Tour’ brings the Touchstones Rochdale collections to the people. Fascinating artefacts, artworks and curiosities have left the 4 walls of the museum and are travelling around the borough to inspire and give visitors a deeper knowledge of the collections that belong to you.
