How to report untidy gardens or land
Before you report untidy private gardens or land to us, you should try to resolve any issues with the owner or occupier of the land.
If you can't resolve any issues with the owner or occupier of the land, you can let us know about issues like:
- Lots of rotting food
- Piles of dumped waste
- Dumped furniture or appliances
- Overflowing bins
- Lots of dog poo
- Abandoned building materials
- Hedges, trees or shrubs that are growing onto footpaths or roads
How to keep your garden or land tidy
Here are some tips for keeping your garden or land tidy:
- Make sure your bins are ready to be collected regularly. Check when your bins are collected
- Know what goes in each bin. What items you can put in each bin
