What you need to do
Every year between July and November, we send a letter to every household in the borough, asking them to check their details to make sure the electoral register is up to date. The letter lists all the people in your house who are currently registered to vote.
- When you receive your letter or email, just follow the instructions so we know you're registered and ready to vote. Please read this carefully to check if you need to report any changes or not.
- If you do need to make changes, please update your information as soon as possible. You can update your information online, using the text message service, or by posting the form back to us - you'll find all this information in your letter. You'll need to have your security codes to hand when making your updates.
- If the information is accurate, you don't need to do anything.
