The ethnic minority achievement team was set up to combat the educational disadvantages experienced by particular groups. Specifically, we address the needs of pupils who have English as an additional language or who belong to ethnic minority communities.

- Health and medical records including disabilities.
- Identifiers, for example National Insurance number, driving licence number, vehicle registration number.

We're required by law to combat the educational disadvantages experienced by particular groups. This is detailed in legislation and guidance including:

- We keep personal information collected as part of this process for a minimum of 25 years from the date of birth of the child or for and additional length of time if necessary.

This service doesn't transfer your information outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
We do not routinely share data with any organisation outside the UK, but our website is available across the internet and we communicate with applicants and stakeholders wherever they are.
