Our commissioning strategy for children and young people sets out how we will commission services to ensure that children, young people and their families are enabled to improve outcomes and life chances. We are responsible for specifying, commissioning, planning, delivering and evaluating the impact of the services we provide such as Independent Fostering and Private Residential Care.
We commission services that meet the needs of all children and young people including the most disadvantaged and vulnerable children and their families. We work closely with partner agencies to improve the health and wellbeing of children and young people.

We're required by law to commission service for Children. This is detailed in legislation and guidance including:

This service doesn't transfer your information outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
We do not routinely share data with any organisation outside the UK, but our website is available across the internet and we communicate with applicants and stakeholders wherever they are.
