Introduction

The Working Well Specialist Employment Service or Working Well SES for short will help you if you are out of work and have a learning disability, autism or a mental health condition. The service will help eligible residents by:

  • Giving them access to an Employment Specialist.
  • Working with the participant, employers and partners, to help them find work.
  • Supporting them once in work, including accessing and planning ongoing support.
What personal information we collect

We collect personal information to make sure that we can carry out our work. The personal information we collect includes:

  • Sensitive/special category data

This includes:

  • Address and contact details
  • Age or date of birth
  • Attainment or educational data
  • Employment data
  • Ethnicity or nationality
  • Health or medical records including disabilities
  • Marital status
  • Name

When we collect personal information it may be about:

  • Applicants
  • Customers, service users and residents
How we use personal information

We use your personal information to:

  • Maintain accounts and records
  • Process applications, requests and appeals
  • Provide provisions of employment, education and training advice and support.

  • Customers and their families

This service doesn't make any decisions using computers or programmes that don't involve a human being when using your personal information.
How long we keep your personal information
We keep personal information collected as part of this process for a minimum of 7 years from the date of collection, or for an additional length of time if necessary.

This service doesn't transfer your information outside the EEA.

We do not routinely share data with any organisation outside the UK, but our website is available across the internet and we communicate with applicants and stakeholders wherever they are.
