A Green Flag Award winner, this lovely little park is located in the town’s conservation area, between the recently renovated Middleton Library and St Leonards Church. It has an elegant bandstand and plenty of seating.
The main heritage feature is the Exedra, designed by prominent local architect Edgar Wood.

- Accessible parking:
- There is a small cobbled car park to the side of Middleton Library.
- A larger car park off New Lane to the side of St Leonard’s Church is easy to use but has no marked bays. Find St Leonard's Church on Google Maps
- Toilets: there's an accessible toilet available during opening times on the ground floor of Middleton Library.
- Paths:
- If you are parking at New Lane by the church, there's a fairly steep tarmac path with 2 distanced steps to take you around the top part of the park, including the bandstand. There's then a series of about 6–8 steps with handrail to get to the park's lower levels.
- If you're parking by the library or nearby streets and accessing the park by the library, there is a gently sloping tarmac path 15 metres to the left of the library into the park. This path takes you into the lower part of the park where all the flower displays are.
- The heritage exedra has around 20 steps up to it.
- Seating: there are several benches throughout the park for people with limited mobility.
- Play equipment: there's no play equipment in this park.
