Health and Social Care Integrated Commissioning Strategy

Our Heath and Care Commissioning Strategy describes our plans for securing, specifying and monitoring services to meet people's needs at a strategic level. It describes the principles that we will adopt and describes how the commissioning service will support and work with care providers across all sectors of the market.

The strategy sets out our high-level commissioning principles and intentions and acts as a guide to everyone we work with on what will be required to meet the needs of adults who require care and support now and in the future.

This is the first step in developing a strategic suite of documents for commissioning including the newly developed market position statements that will provide greater detail on the intentions and plans.
