Reason: To test the level crossing.
Restriction and location: Smithy Bridge Road: a section around the railway level crossing will be temporarily closed. The closure will begin at a point 15 metres north of the level crossing and end at a point 40 metres away in a south easterly direction.
Alternative route: Smithy Bridge Road, Milnrow Road (Littleborough), Wildhouse Lane, Kiln Lane, Bridge Street, Rochdale Road, Milnrow Road (Rochdale), Albert Royds Street, Halifax Road (A58) and Smithy Bridge Road.
