2020-2021 statement of accounts
Audit of accounts: year ended 31 March 2021
The audit opinion has been issued for the annual accounts for the financial year 2020/21 of Rochdale Borough Council and the Accounts have been published.
The conclusion of the audit and the issuance of the audit certificate cannot take place until the Whole of Government Accounts 2020/21 return for Rochdale Borough Council has been completed and audited. As at 4 April 2022 the Whole of Government Accounts template for 2020/21 has not been issued, and therefore it is not possible to complete at this time.
The rights conferred on Local Government electors by section 25 of the Local Audit and Accountability Act 2014 are to inspect and make copies of:
- The statement of accounts prepared by the authority
- The local auditor's opinion on the statement of accounts
- Any public interest report relating to the authority or an entity connected with it, and
- Any recommendation relating to the authority or an entity connected with it
The accounts will be available for inspection on working days between 10am–4pm on and after 4 April 2022, from:
