Technical issues with planning software

We've identified the following issues with the planning application software and are working with the supplier to resolve these. In the interim we've identified ways to allow you to still complete your task and apologise in advance for it not being as easy as it could be.

Unable to submit comments on an application

If the system has timed-out when you're submitting comments you may wish to consider preparing your comments in advance before submitting them. We welcome your comments on applications but please be aware the system times out after 30 minutes.

Unable to view planning documentsCompatibility View Settings.

If you're using the latest version of Internet Explorer 11 it may not allow you to view all the planning documents. By changing the following settings on your computer you should be able to access them:

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Press 'ALT' to show the menu bar
  3. Select the menu item called 'Tools', then from the drop down list select 'Compatibility View Settings'
  4. In the 'Add this website' section enter and click the button 'Add'
  5. Close your Internet Explorer browser
  6. Open your Internet Explorer browser and try accessing the documents again.
