Rochdale Youth Service summer programme

Rochdale youth service organise a variety of fun events for young people over the summer holidays.

Taking place from Wednesday, 26 July to Thursday, 31 August 2017 there are a huge variety of events going on across the borough, with some trips to the seaside too, meaning there really is something for everyone.

Programme brochures are being delivered to all secondary school, libraries and youth centres.

'Don't be the only one who misses out'

Councillor Donna Martin, portfolio holder for children's services, was amazed by the range of activities organised; "The youth service summer programme is a great recourse for young people. The youth service workers enthusiasm is contagious, so get involved this summer and don't be the only one who misses out."

The summer programme finishes in style with the Festival of Friendship event on Thursday, 31 August 2017, 1-5pm at Broadfield Park. Diane Higgins, lead youth worker gave a taster of the festival; "The festival will be a great celebration of all the summer fun we've had at our events. With live music, circus, and sports tournaments on offer in the beautiful Broadfield Park it will be an event to remember."
