Rochdale Wedding Show, due to be staged this March has been postponed again due to the pandemic and will now take place in autumn.The popular show at the 4-star Mercure Norton Grange Hotel and Spa should have originally taken place in September last year, before being hit by coronavirus restrictions, but couples planning to tie the knot will now have to wait until Sunday, 5 September 2021.
Councillor Janet Emsley, cabinet member for a safer and inclusive community at organisers Rochdale Borough Council said:
"I'm sure everyone will understand the reasons behind this decision but we are still looking forward to bringing this fabulous event to the Mercure Norton Grange Hotel and Spa – one of Greater Manchester's most prestigious wedding destinations."
The council is promising another strong line-up for 2021, bringing around 35 of the borough's creative, stylish and inspiring suppliers to the Norton Grange alongside catwalk shows, live music and more. Outside there'll be a collection of contemporary wedding cars.
