All roads lead to Junction Library and Community Centre on Saturday, 11 March 2017 when the popular centre holds a family fun day.

There will be activities for all ages including Lego competitions, puppet workshops, children’s storytime and interactive computer coding sessions.

The FREE event, which runs from 12pm-3pm, also includes prizes for competition winners, goody bags and information on events at the recently refurbished centre.

Events and activities

Junction library, on Grimshaw Lane, is thriving again after a fantastic take-up of activities. Weekly attractions include Karate and Zumba classes, ‘knit and natter’ sessions and Lego and Duplo clubs for youngsters.

East Middleton Councillor Donna Martin said: “Saturday’s event has fun activities for all ages. It’s great to see the library thriving again, at the heart of the local community, and I would encourage people to pop along and see what the library has to offer.”
