Over 250 Balderstone and Kirkholt residents attended a 'Wild West' event with a festive twist at St Thomas' Church in Rochdale.
The church on Cavendish Road hosted an afternoon of activities including children's crafts, face painting, a bouncy castle and a rodeo bull! There was lots of festive music and dancing too with singers from 'Young at Heart', clog dancing with 'Oakenhoof Folk Arts' and the 'K-Stars' morris dancers.
'A fabulous community event'
The afternoon began with a festive singalong around the tree on The Strand, before the Christmas lights were turned.
Councillor Kathleen Nickson said:
"The church was packed and it was wonderful that so many people of all ages and backgrounds came down to support such a fabulous community event."
