Popular Manchester band ‘Baked A La Ska’ will play the main stage at this year’s Rochdale Feel Good Festival.
The 11 piece act has performed several sold-out shows at Manchester’s Band on the Wall as well as riotous sets at major festivals including Kendal Calling. They’ve released four acclaimed albums showcasing their trademark mix of spaced out and spooky originals plus quirky covers that have been put through their ska machine!
The band, brought together by keyboardist and wizard Mr John Ellis, is fronted by an un-holy trio of singers: Frank “The Skank”, Tommy Robot and Kuntri Ranks, who combine the soft lilt and harmonica magic of Robin Sunflower, with one of the tightest rhythm sections in the UK.
Their brand of fun in your face eccentricity, infectious feel good music and larger than life personality will ensure a party atmosphere on the main stage on the Saturday when they make their Rochdale debut.
Baked A La Ska will be joined by previously announced headliner Razorlight, Middleton band ‘The Bright Black’, The Karpets, fronted by Tom Hingley, Honeyfeet and the Delphina Kings.
