Who can join the library?
Anyone can join the library. It doesn't matter if you live or work outside of Rochdale borough. As long as you're a UK resident, you can become a member of our libraries.
How much does it cost to join the library?
Library membership is FREE for everyone.
How do I join the library?
You can complete our online form to join the library. It's FREE and only takes a few minutes to complete.
You'll need to:
- Follow the link below to view and accept the conditions of membership.
- Complete the online form to register to join the library. Then you'll get a library membership number. You can use this straight away to download
eBooks, eAudiobooks and eMagazines, as well as to access other
online library resources.
- Collect your library card from one of the open libraries - view open libraries.
- When you collect your card, you'll need to bring some identification with you showing your name and current address. If you're under 14 years old, a parent or guardian will need to accompany you to the library, bringing some identification for themselves such as a utility bill, driving licence or bank statement.
