10 of Rochdale borough's parks and green spaces have been given the prestigious Green Flag Award status in 2020, meaning they are 10 of the very best in the UK.

Note: council-run bowling greens close each year from 30 September until 1 April as we undertake winter maintenance work.

Walk around the parks and gardens in Rochdale town centre
This 40 minute walk takes you to the finest parks and gardens of Rochdale town centre and will make you discover their history and the best views.
An alternative route can also be followed for a shorter walk. The walk starts and finishes in front of the magnificent Town Hall. Each step of the walk is detailed in the guide.
