This Rights Of Way Improvement Plan establishes a framework for rights of way and countryside access work over a 10 year period between 2007-2017.
By identifying the key issues and pressures that affect access and rights of way in the borough, plans of action have been developed which will lead us towards our goal of a sustainable network that meets modern day needs.
Every local authority is required under Section 60 of the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000 to produce a rights of way improvement plan.
This plan is in the process of being updated. However, the information in the plan remains accurate.
