Township grants

The borough of Rochdale is divided into 5 townships:

  • Heywood
  • Middleton
  • Pennines (including Firgrove, Littleborough, Milnrow, Newhey, Smallbridge, and Wardle)
  • Rochdale North
  • Rochdale South

Each township can provide funds to support organisations and projects that directly benefit the community and environment of the borough.

Who can apply for a township grant?

Local non-profit community groups and organisations can request funding support from township funds.

Special consideration is given to groups with no existing funding and those in areas not benefiting from other funding opportunities.
